“What started as a friendly phone call, turned into a life’s mission.”
Upon returning home from Vietnam, Dennis Blackman received a phone call about a business opportunity.
Having a history in consulting, Dennis knew he wanted to educate others on the foundation of what it takes to build a retail business on a small budget.
It wasn’t until 1987 when Dennis called up the previous owner of the company and agreed to purchase what is now known as, Copper Creek Mercantile.
What started as a small feed and supply store, has grown into a store with items for all types of animals, an eclectic array of gifts, accent decor, and lawn and garden products to provide our customers with a complete shopping experience.
We have loyal customers that have become family, we are an industry standard for service, and we are continually educating ourselves on the growing demands of our customers.
With our average employee working for Copper Creek Mercantile for almost 30 years, we are dedicated to serving others and giving back to the Keizer, Oregon community.
